Here are the events of the year so far...
25 Cumbrian artists have each been invited to exhibit 12 pieces of work in this year's Autumn exhibition which celebrates the 25th Anniversary of Rheged.
The exhibition opens on 17 October and ends on 1 February.
In addition to my 12 paintings, I will have prints, calendars and greetings cards.
This is a Green Door Artists exhibition at Farfield Mill near Sedbergh (LA10 5LW). The exhibition runs from 7 January to 5 April. There will be a range of paintings, ceramics and other media by a dedicated group of local artists.
The Mill and The Tea Room are open 10:30 - 4:00 Wednesday – Sunday.
Grasmere Village Hall, Friday 3 April - Sunday 11 April, 10.00 - 5.00
Any artists living in Cumbria can apply for entry. Artists submit up to five original artworks. There is no selection criteria so that any and all original art types and mediums can be represented. Artists range from acclaimed, award winning professionals to lifelong creatives who only exhibit at Cumbria Local Arts Exhibition.
I plan to open my studio again this year when Green Door Artists hold their annual trail around the end of September. More details later.
